Picked up a set of fine tip markers and a nice small sketch pad. Never under estimate the value of having the right tools for the job. After just a few quick sketches I can see a big difference in the look and quality of my illustration work. A small investment could be the difference in a good piece of work and a great one. Of course its your talent and vision as well, but some nice tools really help too.
Here’s what I got from Staples:
- Speedball 5.5×8.5 spiral skecthbook
- A package of HB pencils from Staedler
- Pigment liner sketch pens (from 0.05mm to 0.8mm) also from Staedler
- One white pencil eraser
